Eligible patient groups under this collaboration include senior citizens requiring hearing screening, paediatric patients suspected of having hearing issues without prior screening records, as well as children experiencing speech and language delays.
In addition, the service focuses on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other clinical indicators requiring hearing assessment by a certified audiologist.
Patients with chronic hearing loss who need reassessment or regular monitoring are also included within the scope of this collaboration, alongside eligible patients under the PEKA B40 programme.
The range of services offered includes basic hearing screening procedures such as otoscopic examination, audiometry, tympanometry, and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) screening.
This collaboration is expected to support early detection of hearing problems and streamline the referral and management process for patients requiring further intervention.
Through this public–private partnership approach, Global Hearing Care Centre and Klinik Kesihatan Kulai remain committed to strengthening access to comprehensive, convenient, and community-friendly hearing care services.
