Receiver-In-The-Ear (RITE) are inserted inside that ear canal and feature thin electrical wires rather than plastic acoustic tubes. It's an open-fitting Hearing Aid that's easy to put on and take off. For a free flow of sound waves, the receiver is mounted outside of the hearing aid and is connected by a discrete transmitter wire.
